—My name is Marie, and I can honestly say this blog has become a big part of my life. Call me stupid, but it’s the truth. I’m pretty simple, yet complex as fuck. I love all things Turtles, Video Games, Music, Photography, Blogging, the Internet, and almost any extreme sport. (Paintball, Skydiving, ATV racing, Armed Weapons training, etc.) I’m a Social Butterfly trapped in an Anti-Social’s body. In reality, I’m shy as all hell. I would rather hide behind my keyboard than ever go out and make friends, yet, I really want friends. I know that sounds utterly pathetic, but whatevs. 

About iHeartGeek: Well since you made it this far, something must have drawn you in. It was probably my Pokemon’s, and that’s okay. All I have to say about that is, “Shhh, you’re home now.” In any case, this blog is titled iHeartGeek for a reason. Geekery big and small comes here to live, without ridicule. Beyond that, Geeks come here to unite, and take over the world make friends. Pokemon, The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo, Comics, Star Wars and more, we have it all, or at least I try to. But iHeartGeek is more than that, it’s not some category specific fashion blog with 50,000 followers. It’s also my personal blog, and some people tend to forget that. On any given day, 99% of the things you see will be Geekery in all shapes and sizes. But there’s going to be that 1%. Weather it’s once a week, or once a month, it’s there. It’s me posting something I like. It’s me ranting about my life. It’s me, just being me. Your Blogfather. ^__^ When I started this a year ago, I had no idea we would be at a little over 6,180 followers, and almost 150,000 page views! Thank you to each and every one of you, YOU make this possible! Because a blog isn’t a blog without followers!

Some simple FAQ’s: 1) I don’t follow everyone back. Sorry. 2) If you’re new to Tumblr, BE YOURSELF. 3) I found Tumblr through folks at Youtube. 4) I find my posts in Tracked Tags, Deviant Art, Google, Other Tumblr’s, and any where else I can get my hands on. 5) I’m a PS3 fan girl for life. 6) The greatest thing about Tumblr is that my followers BITCH when I don’t post ENOUGH Pokemon. 7) The worst thing about Tumblr is you have to watch out for all of the pr0n. Scrolling your feed or simply being on Tumblr period is a big NO-NO in public, around small children, sensitive friends, parental figures, etc…. And last but not least 8) My favorite video games are RED DEAD REDEMPTION, Borderlands, Dragon Age, the Pokemon series (Blue, Gold, Silver, Diamond), Midevil, the Metal Gear Solid series (Twin Snakes and Snake Eater), Monster Rancher 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the DOOM series, Need for Speed: Underground 2, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and the Diablo series.
